Centered in Christ, Journeys Lutheran School prepares students with unique learning challenges to maximize their God-given spiritual, academic, physical, emotional and social potential.

About Journeys Lutheran School

At Journeys, we believe every child’s educational journey should be filled with purpose, care, and opportunity. Rooted in Christian faith, we provide a supportive learning environment where students are known as individuals, encouraged to grow, and guided to reach their God-given potential.

Our small class sizes allow teachers to build meaningful relationships with students and tailor instruction to how each child learns best. We focus on individualized and differentiated learning, meeting students where they are academically while helping them gain confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Faith is woven into everything we do—not only in the classroom, but in how we teach kindness, responsibility, and respect. Education is a journey we walk together, preparing students for future success and a life grounded in faith, character, and purpose.

Why We’re Unique

Journeys Lutheran School serves children in need of individualized attention and programs that are not necessarily offered in general education. Small classroom sizes and individualized instruction give each student the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Along with the individualization of each program, we offer therapeutic activities such as art, music, and a sensory room.

Journeys is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of every child God leads to us. We are funded through the Milwaukee school Choice program, but our funding is primarily achieved through donations from churches and individuals.
